LB Camara Commits to Play for South Carolina in 2013

Steve Spurrier added commitment No. 7 for 2013 on Tuesday.

Linebacker Michael Camara has committed to play for South Carolina in 2013.

“The bottom line is that I just felt really comfortable there at South Carolina,” Camara said. “I really liked the university, their academics and the coaching staff in general. And I think I am a good fit for their defense.”

Camara had scholarship offers from Western Kentucky and Jacksonville State while Mississippi State, Cincinnati and Arkansas were all showing interest.

It’s interesting that South Carolina offered a guy a scholarship that only had one division one offer up to this point, although it looks like more were coming.
